March 2009 Passaic County, NJ

PierCon has been subcontracted by Pinnacle Wireless to perform a E9-1-1 dispatch center consolidation needs analysis and report focusing on the methodologies needed for the County to connect to the various municipal police, fire and emergency medical services radio systems.  The report is designed so that the information may be used should any of the municipalities choose to combine their dispatch operations in order to establish a regional dispatch center. The impact of new technologies such as Narrowbanding and digital modulation will be addressed in order to benefit the municipalities as they plan for mandated changes, whether or not they join a regional or consolidated system.

July 2008 State of Massachusetts

After a strenuous professional ability and past-performance evaluation process, PierCon Solutions has been selected as a provider of information technology professional services through the Massachusetts ITS33 Contract.  PierCon is proud to be among the few approved vendors from whom Massachusetts government agencies can choose to provide them with System Planning Services including architecture, business process management, network planning, system planning, telecommunications services and utility computing.

April 2008 Glenville/Scotia, NY

PierCon Solutions has been selected to provide the project management of the 800 MHz Rebanding of the Glenville and Scotia (NY) Police Departments.

March 2008 Hyannis, MA

PierCon Solutions has been selected to provide the project management of the 800 MHz Rebanding of the Hyannis (MA) Fire Department.

October 2007 Greenburgh, NY

PierCon Solutions was awarded a contract from the Town of Greenburgh, NY to evaluate the creation of an interoperable voice radio channel for communications between the town’s police and the seven village police departments within the Town of Greenburgh.  PierCon developed a system design and assisted with successful frequency coordination and FCC licensing for this narrowband, UHF T-band system.

March 2007 Rockland County, NY Countywide Public Safety Communications System

PierCon Solutions was chosen as Rockland County’s Project and Construction Manager for an up to $30M countywide public safety communications system. During the initial phase, PierCon will be responsible for project management and design oversight of the County’s new P25 compliant UHF simulcast digital narrow band UHF trunking network, including developing construction specifications for tower sites, budget and change order management, legislative briefings and subscriber relations and training.  Prior to equipment manufacture, PierCon led the negotiations that upgraded the network from FDMA to two-slot TDMA.
