Systems RF Engineer - Contract Opportunity with Possible Full-Time Employment

Washington DC Metro Area

Scope of Responsibility/Expectations:

Qualified applicants will have extensive P25 infrastructure experience as you will be responsible for US Federal customer’s radio system.

Candidates must have 8+ years as an electronic or systems engineer with a Bachelors’ Degree. Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance as required by US government contract and undergo continuing background and financial investigation. Candidate must have a current, valid driver’s license, no traffic violations.

Experience in the design and implementation of wireless networks, microwave networks, P25 network technology, propagation analysis, drive testing, model tuning, experience with propagation tools, RF site evaluation, site candidate evaluation/selection, link budget analysis, coverage and capacity planning, frequency planning, interference analysis, network optimization and zoning support. Must have specific knowledge of P25 LMR. Manage the day-to-day configuration and requirements for onsite customer.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Perform enterprise-wide business process re-engineering in support of configuring as-is and improved business process workflows in the various products being implemented.
  • Work closely with the customers’ departments to implement and manage the system
  • Identify, manage and implement inter-departmental business process workflows to insure maximum efficiency of the system's usage.
  • Establish and manage work schedules with required parties to ensure the subject matter experts are available for business process workflow discussions and validation.
  • Work with end users, supervisors and senior managers within customer’s organization to apply best practices across all functions of Government. Specifically, our resources understand the business processes for all departments.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Experience in tactical communications P25 and radio network engineering, design, and integration; radio network, router and hub equipment operation and management; voice-over-packet router nodes and networks; VoIP equipment in radio networks; managing, operating and maintaining radio NOC; preparing reports; RF or IP Networks; configuring/installation of Motorola A7.15 Networking equipment (GGM8000, S6000, 2626, SRC7500, etc.)

Qualified applicant must have an understanding in the following areas; Motorola Conventional, SmartZone, Simulcast, MCC Console systems, Secure Operation, Deployable Systems, Integrated Voice and Data, Astro 3.1 Digital and ASTRO A7.15 Digital systems and installation procedures. Applicant must also have the ability to apply new topologies such as OTAP, OTAR and Radio Management. 


Field Service Technician - Temp to Permanent Opportunity

Systems Engineer – Contract Opportunity

The CCSi (Customer Center for Solutions Integration), is host to hundreds of Customers each year. The CCSi is where customer needs and technological solutions come together thru the Systems Staging process. The CCSi Engineering Team works with field teams to develop the fine design details of a Radio Communications System and to support the fundamental objective of Total Customer Satisfaction.

Qualified candidate will have aggressive problem solving skills and the ability to get things done in a multi-organizational environment; effective communication skills including public speaking and interpersonal skills; knowledge of TCP/IP networking; knowledge of active directory and virtual machines.

You will work with a team of staging engineers and field personnel to test customer systems; provide "hands-on" support for systems testing and troubleshooting; serve as a catalyst for the resolution of product and system problems and communicate issues quickly and accurately to the staging engineers.

Systems Analyst / Workday HCM Analyst  – Opportunity

This position is focused on Workday HCM Business Processes and Integrations including enhancements to existing configuration, issue resolution and new configuration. This resource will also assist in supporting daily operations addressing incoming service requests for system updates, questions and process issues.
